Linux Mint terminal commands

cat /proc/cpuinfo - CPU informations
lspci ; Show date about  : motherboard,video ,sound
cat /etc/issue - to see about your Linux version
whoami - show root name
mkdir , rmdir - create a folder and also delete one
sudo ifconfig - show mac,ip server and my ip
sudo passwd - change root password
last -where I was connected(logs like ip adress)
sudo fdisk -l - see partitions
df - see free space on hard
cat /etc/shadow - show scripted passwords
reboot - restart PC ;
ftp -  estabilishes a FTP connection

clear - clear terminal window
ls /usr/bin - Show all commands you can give with the terminal

date - show date 
sudo apt-get install openssh-server - open port 22
sudo apt-get remove openssh-server - close port 22
sudo /etc/init.d/ssh stop - close port 22
sudo /etc/init.d/ssh restart - restart port 22 (refresh)
gzip - arhivate     (bad english)
gunzip ; dezarhivate
zip ./virus.zip ./new.txt ; arhivate virus file .txt
zip -r - arhivate a folder
unzip virus.zip - dezarhivate archive named virus
cd director ; enter in chosen director
cd - -  -back at previous director
dir ; show the files in director you are

groupdel user - delete groups

sudo apt-get remove (purge) ; softwares uninstalling
sudo apt-get autoclean - clear system
sudo aptitude safe-upgrade - if current fall during an update , restore the system to be able to enter it
